Winter maintenance precautions of the excavator

1. The excavator has startup problems or startup difficulties

It may be caused by a fault in the electrical system, or a low battery charge. It is necessary to check the electrolyte height to ensure that it is on the specified scale line, and maintain the battery regularly to avoid loss of power. Aging batteries should be replaced in time.

The starter, engine, or wiring may be faulty and need to be repaired or replaced in time.

2. Working device wear and deformation

Regular inspection of commonly used working devices is required to pay attention to whether there is wear and deformation. If serious wear or deformation is found, repair or replace it in time according to the extent of damage.

3. Tracks fall off

Regularly check the tightness of the track, as well as the guide wheel, gear ring and other parts. If it is found that the wear is serious, adjust the tightness of the track in time or replace the accessories to prevent the track from falling off during the work.

4. Oil leakage problem

If there is oil leakage in the excavator, first find out the oil leak point and analyze the cause of the oil leak.

Oil leakage is divided into internal leakage and external leakage, internal leakage may be caused by aging, wear or damage to the main oil seal, and the oil seal needs to be replaced. When replacing the oil seal, if the piston rod scratch is found, the scratch should be treated before replacing the oil seal.
